How long does a dental implant procedure take from start to finish?
Dental implants are typically done in two phases. The first stage involves placing the implant into the jawbone, which usually takes 1–2 hours per implant. After placement, the healing period (osseointegration) lasts 3 to 6 months, allowing the implant to fuse with the bone. Once healed, the final crowns or bridges are installed. Total treatment time depends on bone quality, implant type, and individual healing response.
Are hair transplant results permanent?
Yes. FUE, DHI, and Sapphire hair transplant techniques use donor hair from the permanent zone—generally the sides or back of the head—where follicles are genetically resistant to hair loss. Once transplanted and healed, these follicles continue to grow naturally for a lifetime. Maintenance is still recommended, such as PRP therapy, proper nutrition, and anti-hair-loss care.
Do dental implants or sinus lifting hurt?
Procedures are performed under local anesthesia or sedation, meaning patients feel minimal discomfort. After the treatment, some swelling or soreness is expected, especially for bone grafting or sinus lifting. This typically lasts 48–72 hours and is controlled with prescribed medication. Most patients return to normal activities after a few days.
How long until I see results from a hair transplant?
Transplanted hairs shed within 2–6 weeks — this is normal. New growth begins at around 3–4 months, becomes visible at 6 months, and continues to mature up to 12–14 months. Final density, thickness, and natural appearance are usually reached by the 1-year mark.
Is a hair or beard transplant suitable for diabetic or international patients?
Many international and diabetic patients undergo successful hair or beard transplants, provided their condition is well-controlled. A pre-treatment evaluation is mandatory—this includes medical history, blood sugar stability, and scalp/skin assessment. Proper planning, sterile techniques, and postoperative care allow safe and predictable outcomes.
Can I combine multiple dental treatments in one visit?
Yes. Depending on your oral health and treatment plan, procedures like gum treatment, extractions, or implant placement can often be combined in the same session. Advanced diagnostics such as panoramic X-rays and CBCT scans help determine a safe and efficient treatment flow. A comprehensive consultation ensures the plan is tailored to your medical condition and healing capacity.
